RECREATION PROGRAMS
GENERAL OVERVIEW

OUR PROGRAMS ARE ADVERTISED VIA FLYERS IN SCHOOLS, BLOOMFIELD PUBLIC ACCESS CHANNEL 35, AND BOTH THE INDEPENDENT PRESS AND THE BLOOMFIELD LIFE.

Fall Programs
Registration Begins September 5, 2007. Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM.
ADULT AEROBICS 18 AND UP Consists of 30 minutes of aerobic exercises and 30 minutes of strength training. Registration Fee: $40.00 Thursdays Sept 27 - November 15th 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Limited Enrollment Civic Center Fee: $40.00	Adult Yoga Classes 18 AND UP Saturdays Bloomfield Civic Center Fee $40.00 SATURDAYS - SEPT 29 - NOV 16 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM CIVIC CENTER

ADULT Pilates 18 AND UP A method of exercise and physical movements designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. Pilates has proven itself invaluable not only as a fitness endeavor itself, but also as in important adjunct to professional sports training and physical rehabilitation of all kinds. Registration Fee: $40.00 Thursdays Sept 27 - November 15th 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM Limited Enrollment Civic Center (please bring your own mat or towel) Fee: $40.00	Hip-Hop Dance Class BOYS AND GIRLS From ages 6 thru 12 Instructor: Amber Hemmer All classes will be held at the civic center tuesdays, from sept. 25 - nov. 13 (Limited enrollment) Fee: $35.00

Alphabet Art Ages 4 & 5 Years old Fee $35.00 Wednesday Sept 19 - Nov 14 4:30 - 5:30 PM Civic Center (No Class on Wednesday, Oct. 31)	Children's Bowling Boys and Girls Grades Pre-K thru High School Registration Fee is $ 8.00 (payable to bloomfield recreation department) Weekly Cost is $8.00(payable at lanes) Saturday sept 22 - dec 22 1:30 - 3:00 PM (13 Dates total) Games will be bowled at: eagle rock lanes, west orange preregistration is required if you miss a week a $4.00 fee will be chrged to cover the cost of trophies and end of the season party

BATON-BOYS AND GIRLS ALL AGES Grades Pre-K - 1st - 1:00 - 1:45 PM Grades 2 and Up - 2:00 - 3:00 PM Competition Teams - A 3:00 - 3:55 PM B 4:05 - 5:00 PM Fee: $25.00 Bloomfield High school 4th floor gym saturdays, september 29 - november 17 batons may be purchased during class Instructor: Lizette Brown	FLAG FOOTBALL GRADES 5 AND 6 MONDAY NIGHTS PULASKI PARK 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Instructional clinic will begin Sept 24 and Oct 1. Grade 5 6:00PM -7:00PM grade 6 7:00Pm-8:00pm Players will learn the rules, philosophy, offensive and defensive techniques and game strategy. Games will begin oct 15 - nov 12 There will be no program on oct. 8th game times will rotate: 6:00PM-7:00PM 7:00pm-8:00PM Schedules will be distrubuted during the second week of instruction FEE: $35.00

Acting and Drama Learn basic acting skills in a fun & exciting environment. Grades 2 - 6 Fridays starting Sept. 28th - Nov. 16th Grades 2 & 3 4 - 5 pm Grades 4 - 6 5 - 6 pm Fee: $40.00 (Limited enrollment) Civic Center	PEE-WEE TOUCH FOOTBALL- BOYS AND GIRLS GRADES 1,2,3 & 4 Wright's Field Sunday Mornings INSTRUCTION and learn to play clinic SEPT 23 and Sept 30 Grades 1 & 2 - 9:30 AM - 10:45 AM Grades 3 & 4 - 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM Fee: $35.00 games begin October 7 - november 4 Game times will rotate, Schedules will be handed out after learn to play clinic.

KARATE-BOYS AND GIRLS 5-15 YEARS OLD Mondays Sept. 17 - Nov 26 5:00 PM - 5:40 pm New Students ages 5-8 5:50 pm - 6:30 pm returning white belts w/ stripes age 5-8 new students ages 9 & older 6:40 pm -7:20 PM all colored belts No Classes on October 8. Creative Corner Grades K-1 A new program designed to encourage reading and enhance language arts skills through exciting stories and activities.
